He is dressed in costume that is medieval in origin but has been modified to fit in with Victorian views, Standing across from him is a small dwarf-like creature who is bowing to the boy and holding out a sack. There is also some text underneath the picture, it states; "A little brown dwarf who seemed to be a guard over the treasures gave him a sack and motioned that Max should fill it and even helped him never saying a word."
