The Royal Dockyard in 1810

Interesting print showing the Royal Dockyard in Deptford, printed c.1880.

The main focus of the print is a large, wonderful ship in the dockyard, which has been anchored down. Behind the ship is is a very small boat with a couple in it sailing away. The water is choppy and rippling. Closer to the dockyard edge is a smaller ship. Behind is a building and there is a tower clock showing from behind the building. The sky is dark and cloudy. The print is 10" x 7 1/2".

This delightful print shows the huge Christ Church in Westminster road in London. The Church is wonderful. The church spires are extremely high, the print has very detailed features of the church. In front of the church is a tram driving past. There is many people walking around outside the church. The print is 7 1/2" x 10 1/4".

The hospital is very large and we can see the hospital side ways on. There is a road in front of it buzzing with people. In the foreground is the Thames river which has boats sailing across it. This delightful print shows St Olaves Grammar School in 1810. The school is situated in front of a churchyard.. There are lots of grave stones. The school itself is dark and basic. In the foreground there is a church. The print is 10 1/2" x 7 1/2".

This print shows the area around the famous Public School of Eton. The picture shows a small lake with a group of trees nearby, a man can be seen walking alongside the pond. In the background can be seen the Old School of Eton. Its fine Georgian architecture can be seen from this distance.
